Oak Island Par 3 Golf is one of the best par three courses in the region. Located 30 minutes south of Wilmington, NC and less than an hour north of Myrtle Beach, SC, this exciting course is adjacent to the Cape Fear Jetport, in the serene South Harbour community, on the mainland section of Town.
Parks & Facilities Rentals
Several recreation facilities are available for private rentals, including picnic shelters, classrooms, and even the Splashpad. Rental Forms can be downloaded from the Event Permits & Facility Rentals page, by visiting the following link.
EVENT PERMITS & FACILITY RENTALS
Hours of Operation
Operating hours for all parks and recreation areas are from one hour before sunrise, to one hour after sunset, unless otherwise specifically noted. Exceptions include:
- Veterans Memorial Park, the Oak Island Cabana, and the Middleton Park Complex: sunrise to midnight, seven days a week.
- The Fishing Tee at the end of West Oak Island Drive: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, seven days a week.
- The Bill Smith Park: 8:00 AM to dark,
Alcoholic Beverages
Alcoholic beverage possession and / or consumption is prohibited in all parks and recreational areas, unless specifically authorized by the Town Manager. To view Town Ordinances regarding Park Hours and Alcohol, visit the following link.
