Strategic Plans serve as a "roadmap" for the Town of Oak Island's decision-making, investment, and service delivery. They reflect community values, Town Council priorities, and staff expertise, and are intended to guide how the Town plans, budgets, and measures success.
Following through with initiatives that began in the FY 2025 - 26 Budget, the Town of Oak Island has now published the NEW Strategic Plan page of the Town Website. Located under the Administration Department, this page provides unprecedented transparency and insight into the Town's decision-making, investment, and service delivery.
On this new page you can find the 3-Year Strategic Plan for the Town as a whole, as well as breakout plans for major community drivers, including Economic Development, the Fire Department, and Parks & Recreation.
