ORIGINAL NOTICE

The Town of Oak Island is now conducting a Public Survey to help build the Oak Island Coastal Resilience Strategy. This Strategy is being developed in partnership with the N.C. Resilient Coastal Communities Program (RCCP) with the goal of identifying and prioritizing projects that strengthen our resilience to coastal hazards.

Coast Resilience Strategy Information

By developing a Coastal Resilience Strategy, the Town is working to design policies, programs, and projects that protect residents and ensures the long-term sustainability of the community. This Survey will help the Project Team understand what environmental risks are of the greatest concern to you, and how Oak Island can plan ahead for future coastal hazard impacts to the community.
