It’s back! October 4-10 is National Fire Prevention Week and that means the return of the Oak Island Fire Department's annual “open house” event, See You At The Station!
On Thursday, October 8, 2024 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, the bay doors at Fire Station 2 (8510 E. Oak Island Drive) will open wide, with an opportunity for our community to meet those who serve you every day.
Get to know our firefighters, tour the station, learn important fire safety tips, and let your kids get a hands-on experience with our equipment! There will be fun and educational activities for all ages!
This will be the Department's FIFTH year hosting See You At the Station, and has become a favorite part of the Fire Prevention Week Activities.
