NOTICE: Starting on Monday, March 9, 2026, work will begin to repaint the Oak Island Water Tower located at 406 Trott Street.
This work is part of the regular maintenance schedule for the Tower, and although no full street closures are expected, some intermittent street closures and traffic interruptions are possible in the immediate area.
This project, and all associated closures are anticipated to last approximately four (4) weeks.
During this time, all non-essential travel through the area should be avoided, even if no closures are in place. To help ensure the safety of both residents and contractors working onsite, drivers and pedestrians, especially those walking pets through the area, should use caution and remain aware of the surrounding work environment.
