NOTICE: Due to needed mechanical repairs on a vacuum truck, Leaf Collection Service has been delayed from its regular schedule by approximately one week.
Crews with the Public Works Department are still actively working to finish Zone 2, where ALL leaves will be removed before work proceeds to Zone 3. The Department is utilizing additional personnel and heavy equipment to return to the normal schedule as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, YOU CAN HELP by remembering to remove heavy debris from leaf piles! Limbs, bricks, rocks, and other heavy items are regularly found (the hard way) to be discorded in leaf piles. leading to major damages of the collection trucks. This means costly repairs, as well as significant equipment downtime and service delays.
