Parks & Facilities Rentals

Several recreation facilities are available for private rentals, including picnic shelters, classrooms, and even the Splashpad. Click the link below to download a Parks & Facilities Rental Form.

Hours of Operation 

Operating hours for ALL parks and recreation areas are from one hour before sunrise, to one hour after sunset, unless otherwise specifically noted. Exceptions include:

  • Veterans Memorial Park, the Oak Island Cabana, and the Middleton Park Complex: sunrise to midnight, seven days a week.
  • The Fishing Tee at the end of West Oak Island Drive: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, seven days a week.
  • The Bill Smith Park: 8:00 AM to dark,

Alcoholic Beverages 

Alcoholic beverage possession and / or consumption is prohibited in all parks and recreational areas, unless specifically authorized by the Town Manager. To view Town Ordinances regarding Park Hours and Alcohol, click the link below.
